My family and I normally visit London during the winter. Once we were walking down the South Bank in an ice cold gale. We were tired and freezing and needed a warm place to rest. By accident we went into the Royal Festival Hall and found an absolutely enchanting hall. A jazz band was playing and people of all types and ages were dancing. The atmosphere was breathtaking. The hall was filled with people enjoying themselves and never before in my life have I experienced that much friendliness and happiness. What initially was a search of a hot cup of coffee ended up being a fantastic event which has become a must every time we go to London.
