Myself and friends used the fifth floor space for meetings, planning direct action and political stunts. We always favoured using the balcony when possible (good starting at the same time as a concert for that). We organised many of the first anti-war stunts here.
When there was a concert we sometimes used to sneak in at the interval and get the second half for free. Never saw the point of empty seats and willing ears, eyes and bums!
